Several mysterious legends are connected with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. The legend about the Venetian Devil tells the story of a cruel judge in Poznań. The legend of Katarzyna, the daughter of a baker, is a story about family love thanks to which famous gingerbreads “Katarzynki” were created. The legend about Mr Twardowski tells about youth and passing away. The legend of the King of Popiel describes the fate of the king who was eaten by mice in the tower.
